Our counsellors have been approached by local hospitals for help, and counselling rooms have been made available two days a week at TC Newman Hospital in Paarl East. Awareness campaigns and talks are regularly given within education centres.
We believe that we can make a difference by investing in and raising up young leaders for our future. 'Shine' is one of our programmes that is aimed at young girls in high school, encouraging a confidence to become all that they can be without caving in to peer pressure and becoming another teen statistic. We also have a boys program, 'Stength', aimed at rasing young honorable men for this nation.
The team is also actively involved in helping at The Stand, a young camp focussed on developing leadership skills. Rock Care regularly sponsor teens to attend this event.

Established in 2000 due to a growing awareness of the huge needs that exist within communities in the paarl valley, Rock Care is committed to making a difference within these communities by inspiring hope in individuals through focussed and effective social action.
